I'm looking for suggestions on where to sell a collection of old toys (primarily from the 1980s when I was a child) in the Twin Cities metro area. I know certain antique stores or eBay might work, but I'd appreciate any other suggestions or specific places you might know of that buy such items. I'm trying to determine the value of the collection and would obviously like to sell via the entity where I'll get the highest appraisal.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Absolutely look at eBay or Etsy to get your best price. Ebay's completed auction listings also serve as a snapshot of what items like yours are selling for currently. Dealers locally have to make money, so they need to lowball you a little on price. Craigslist is a good way to sell, perhaps, if you want to avoid shipping. To start, take great digital photos on a clean background.

May I ask what you're selling?

Thanks for the suggestions and I'll look into eBay. I'm selling a collection of Hot-Wheels, He-Man (Masters of the Universe), and Star Wars figures (both of the latter being the original 1980's figures, not the newer versions).

Thanks again!
