I'm very excited to share that my husband and I bought a house! We found a really cute 4 bed/2 bath house in NE Minneapolis for a steal - $200,000. There's a bit of work, but nothing crazy. Mostly just updates here and there. Lots of historical character - the house was built in 1937.

Congrats! I've been living (renting) in NE for 3 years, and out of all the areas I've lived in Minneapolis and St. Paul, NE is my favorite. I'm hoping to buy a house sometime in the future here, too
