I'm curious which Twin Cities TV stations, particularly network affiliates, broadcast in full 1080P HD over the air. ABC, CBS, and NBC broadcast in 1080P over the air in Seattle but FOX clearly doesn't, which is a bummer because they broadcast most of the Seahawks games. It's amazing how much clearer and sharper football on NBC and CBS is in the Seattle area compared to FOX.

Anyhow, I'm planning on relocating next year. I don't have cable and I'm not going to get it and I'm curious if I'd be able to watch football, and the other sports broadcast on the networks, in true HD over the air in the Twin Cities.

I think you are mistaken. There are no OTA stations in the US broadcasting in 1080p. They broadcast in 1080i or 720p. Your set top box might up convert the signal to 1080p, but the native resolution is not 1080p, even in Seattle.

Ah, my mistake. FOX must be broadcasting in 720p and the other networks must be broadcasting in 1080i in Seattle. Are the four network affiliates in the Twin Cities all broadcasting in 1080i?

The resolution is determined by the national network, not the local station. All Fox stations in the US broadcast in 720p. NBC and CBS broadcast in 1080i. I'm not sure about ABC, but I think they are also 1080i.
