And I had actually thought about making the trip up there to see the game. Yikes!

I might go run in that weather...but I know I will work up a sweat and can run right back into my cozy house.

So...no thanks! I will watch the game on TV while I eat, drink and (hopefully) be merry in the comfort of my own home.

So you wear proper layers and buy some hand/feet warmers. Easy. With that, 1ºF is perfectly comfortable.

As a professional photographer who is often outside for hours in subzero cold, I can attest to the fact that it's seriously not even a big deal. Just don't be stupid and come prepared! Besides which, I'm sure there will be warming areas prepped for people who need a quick break from the cold.

Although I live in the Northwest I have NEVER been a fan of the Sea Slugs so go Vikings!!! ( I am actually a Steelers fan).

I really hope Minnesota kicks their butts all over the field.

I realize there are strong players on both sides, but here's hoping the Seaducks choose hibernation and/or flight south. I always thought the Vikes going indoors took away a huge chunk of homefield advantage, even if they got soooo close those couple of times (Anderson's lone FG miss and the Saints' bounty hunting). The Vikes are meant to be an outdoor team, feeding off the heat of their aquavit-fueled/lutefisk-fed fans. Zimmer seems to be the guy to at least bring back this aura.

skol!!!!

Thank you. Used to live by the Met, and the kids would all play football outside after the Vikes game, regardless of temps. Heck, that weather makes the outdoor rinks great to skate on. Just dress in layers.

Oh yeah...Brandy.

Yup. Got free tickets so it's a no brainer. Plus who knows when the next opportunity for a home playoff game will be, especially for free(:. Layers, layers, layers, wool socks and foot warmers, should be fine.
