Hi my cousin just had a lung transplant and when she's released from the hospital she needs to live in apartment for 3 months so probably through December. She's needing something furnished because they are not from around there. It'll be her and her caregiver. Any tips for something that will be furnished and month to month? Has to be within an hour of University of Minnesota hospital in a safe area please. Thanks!

Short term rentals are hard to find, especially on basically no notice. I would suggest looking at Cragislist. Otherwise your cousin should probably have some sort of case worker at the hospital - have they been able to offer any suggestions?

She's on a waiting list from what the hospital provided but it's $2,000 per month which isn't very reasonable when they have to maintain a household they already have.

Could you try a local church or the salvation army they may give a voucher or something like that. May try some church or something like that.

There are a lot of assistance type places to go check on.
