due to their paranoia and self imposed exile from society, most cops will misread even the most benign non-compliance or hesitation and escalate immediately to DEFCOM-1 and go nuclear on a suspect all the while "fearing for their lives"

better to switch to AI robocops and let these guys work security at the mall or Rolling Stones concerts

Which is the bad cop here? The one that kneeled on George's neck or the three that stood watching without saying or doing anything?

Revenge is a dish best served cold. That cop should be buried alive in concrete.

You know, as afraid as everyone seems to be of the police it’s amazing to me how just about all of these incidents begin with - you guessed it - crimes being committed. I mean, I’m afraid of jellyfish, sea snakes and sharks, so take a guess where I choose not to swim?

No. But I’m thinking the thousands of people huddled together at the protest right now will result in a few Covid deaths. Not good.

It's funny how nobody I've ever known has had an issue with police officers. Of course, I don't have a tendency to get high on drugs, break the law, and certainly wouldn't fight police officers if they tried to arrest me.

From what has been reported, I think these cops were wrestling this guy for a while when they finally managed to pin him. A common ploy with criminals is to fake compliance or physical injury, then to attack or run. I'm sure police training doesn't say to release the criminal as soon as they complain about something. Police also don't run around responding to a crowd yelling at them, so I'm not that surprised that they largely ignored the crowd.

However, once they had the cuffs on, him on the ground, and he's in a state of compliance, then it's time to stop. The knee in the neck was beyond the line and the police officer who was with him in front of the crowd should have done something when he looked back as well. I think the officers should be charged and quickly found guilty.

I don't see anything that would make me think this is related to race, but I'm sure race baiters are ecstatic about this story. Mohamed Noor killed a completely innocent women who wasn't committing any crime at all, unlike this guy, yet nobody called for him to be put to death in gruesome ways.

Absolutely NEVER call them to your home..someones bound to be assaulted and it won't be them.
As was the case in the tragic Minneapolis death of Justine Ruszczyk Damond in 2017 which most of us remember. Story linked below...

Are you kidding? This is like New Years, 4th of July, Super Bowl and Mardi Gras rolled into one for the cop hating left, including most of the media, a certain 14 year old look alike posing as a Mayor and a slew of our most predictable participants in here.

Just for the record... yeah, they obviously should have let up, but somehow I always got the sense that the act of committing crime had a pretty high rate of potential negative outcomes for the perp and that I - well, you know.... SHOULDN'T COMMIT CRIME??? I know....how 19th century of me, right?
