same MO to follow; we will hear about the resistance offered by the dead man, they'll drag out his run ins with police, body camera footage will go missing and a couple hundred thousand dollars will be allocated to his grieving family

There were three officers on him - one of them (at least) was a person of color. I don't believe they will be able to prove the one with his knee on neck killed the man. The one on his chest might have done more damage (on his lungs and heart) and I think that cop was African American.

Thanks to the tyrants in Midway today, I lost pay. I am a working man and one of my properties is by there, and it had to close down because of the lawlessness. Surely there are many more just like me. I hope they're happy.

OK, Karen.
BTW, I'm black, just like the majority involved. I think I have a right to describe these "people" any way I please. The other races involved in the riots are lowlife garbage as well. Unfortunately it might get worse since the coward prosecutor thinks there's evidence that doesn't support a criminal charge.

So yes, they are otherwise a peaceful bunch. Only an idiot and a keyboard warrior would argue otherwise.

The Uncle Tom is strong in this one.

Damn shame.

The Minneapolis police officer who knelt on George Floyd's neck had 18 previous complaints against him, police department says

Apparently he is a privileged thug dressed in blue who got away with repeated offenses under a corrupted law enforcement system; but finally acted out of control and took other's life with bare hands...this is not the first brutality event by MDP that caused grieves on civilians. Measures need to be taken to clean out the thugs in blue to avoid repeated tragic events like this that trigger rioting, looting, racial tension, and social unrest as what is ongoing now...I am 100% pro law enforcement. Thugs like this in LE system will break civilian trust and lead to chaos instead of justice and peace.

He probably didn't even kill him, it was probably the black cop who was crushing his lungs and heart (not visible in the preferred tape). That kinda sucks for the narrative, eh?

The thuggery needs to stop. AutoZone, Aldi, Target, the Walgreens, O'Reilly, a new affordable housing complex, Cub Foods, the Wellness Clinic on Midway, ATM machines, etc. All destroyed to what end?

I saw a picture today of a guy looting the Aldi and to the right of him was a sign that said, "Aldi, now hiring Heroes. $15.25/hour." Aldi was paying almost $32,000 per year for people to work there, and now everyone who worked there is unemployed.

If you're thinking that burning down a low-income area of Minneapolis is going to help anything, then you're a fool. Businesses will collect insurance payments and then close. This isn't justice. Hundreds of jobs that have just been lost. Jobs that put food on the table for people who live in the community. The affordable housing complex that was under construction to create a better and more liveable Minneapolis is gone. We could have had a ribbon-cutting ceremony this year, but now we have more blight.

If you think that you're sending a message to "the man" by burning down the city, then you're misguided. You've done nothing other than ruin the place that you're living in. What have you accomplished? The people that were sympathetic to this cause are turning against you. Also, congratulations, your rent will be going up because insurance and the tax base will be going up to clean up this mess. People aren't talking about George Floyd anymore. People are talking about the mayhem that's occurring.

And that's a damn shame.

RIP George Floyd.
