I don’t want to talk about it. I’m sad and bitter and in turn had to relocate my family far away. I’ll always claim to be a Minnesotan but I’m sad for the twin cities. I’m sad that we let thugs and felons take over the city. I’m sad the city was destroyed for supposed justice. I’m sad I couldn’t raise my kids there. I hope the best for the twin cities.

Minneapolis is fine. I live here. The worst crime I've ever experienced is theft of a bike (which I stupidly left unsecured in my building's supposedly "secured" garage).
I guess it’s not happening since you don’t see it.

I did college from 1970 to 1975 in Minneapolis. During that time I had no issues with vandalism, theft or even going out at night. The homes in the area I lived were taken care of and the stores were neat and clean. Now the homes look like dumps, stores have been tagged and there are a lot of young men just hanging out on the streets at night. I am not comfortable at night in Minneapolis even in the down town area. It has gone from a very nice midwest City to one of those ghetto cities that I prefer to avoid. Add to that all the news about police misconduct in the entire metro area and it is enough to not go there ever again.
