In your face Cincinnati!

With the arrest of Vikings Cornerback Chris Cook over the weekend for domestic assault, our Vikings have wrestled the 21st Century Arrests Tally from the Cincinnati Bengals by the score of 37 to 36. Of course many of these charges are later dropped and while that is due in large part to the players being unjustly perescuted in the first place , it does have the added community benefit of supporting Minnesota's police and legal industries in these tough economic times. So for those nay-sayers who question the economic benefit of professional sports franchises within a community, why don't you go fly a kite with a hole in it?

Hahahaha! At the rate they're going the Vikings will be the hub of NFL felons!

But damn at the HUNDREDS of NFL arrests since the new century started! No wonder people call it the National Felon League!

It's an entertainment league. In more serious professions, a felony typically ends a career. In the NFL, it's a publicity bonus...

Unfortunately Minnesota's police isn't a for-profit business, but a public service paid for by Joe-Taxpayer. Yeah, I guess defense attorneys hired by the arrested athletes would have benefited, but should we really be happy about that? Humor aside, I don't really see anything good coming out of this.
