Michele Bachmann Says She'll Run For Another Term In Congress Why? She's missed 518 votes since '07. Shouldn't district reps do their jobs and actually work to represent their constituents? I'd probably disagree with 90% of her voting record. But still...I'm tired of entitled career politicians.(especially Bachmann)

There are no secrets when it comes to redistricting. The courts needs to approve any changes.

If the voters in her district agree with you, they'll elect someone else. If they don't, she be re-elected. But that's kinda obvious, I guess.
And her district-- or any other-- wasn't eliminated because Minnesota kept the same number of seats in Congress after the 2010 census.

Of course, if the Democrats were doing their jobs, or doing anything but being spineless pandering servants of Wall Street and Hollywood titans, they might get a little traction in the hinterlands. But no, they're too busy bailing out City Corp and sponsoring SOPA and NDAA bills to pay attention to issues that matter to the rest of us.
