we send post cards back and forth w/ friends and we have to find out where they are. rec'd a card postmarked st. cloud and she states that the post mark may reveal where they are and the image on card of an old fashion couple fly fishing may revel one of their activities. the resort is named for a distance, not metric. and nearby they had fried wallege at the american legion in ashley. any bites as to where they are?

What is the name of the resort? I looked up Ashley and it looks like it is near Sauk Center so they could be anywhere in central MN-Sauk, Alexandria, etc. There are 1000's of lakes in that area so it's hard to pin point exactly where they might be. Sounds like a fun way to send postcards.

Yeah I'll bet it's Ashby. The St Cloud postmark is typical of anything sent out in this region. Also, not uncommon but there is an American Legion there.
