Why is it when I do a search on MN real estate sites and I plug in "water front" I get waterfront and water views? A water view is NOT water front and I find it annoying that I have to weed through all of the ads to get what I am looking for.

So realtors, what's up with that?

I hear ya! They just do it to grab your attention. Their goal is to lure you in and hope you like the house itself so by the time you realize it isn't waterfront you might be willing to compromise.

That is a good question - come on realtors, chime in.

I've experienced this also. Last year my wife and I traveled to Bemidji with a very limited amount of time. I prearranged to see several homes with a real estate agent. One that was listed as waterfront was about 100 yards from the lake but as the agent said the property had access to an easement with access to the lake. The lake was on the other side of a 2 lane road! But hey you could see a little patch of water from an upstairs window.

Townhomes and Duplexes listed as Single Family can get annoying too.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that one! I am wondering when the rules changed or if the realtors are just breaking the rules.

Wow...that is just wrong. How do these realtors show these houses with a good conscience, and even a straight face?

Yes...you have to open the listing before finding out it is a townhouse or duplex. Very frustrating and a waste of time, too.
