I approve of this as there is no better way to find what "this baby will do" then pedal to the metal, no good sittin' back at the station and reading the owners manual. It's just like a guy who works in the doughnut shop who wants to see how many of those Krispy Kremes he can shove in his mouth or the air traffic control guy who wants to see if he can set the record for the most "blips" on his screen at one time. It's called performance testing.

people are people. It's bound to happen, but I can understand some people's viewpoints towards cops (I've never had a problem, but I'm white, polite, and pick my battles carefully, and speed only to the tune of 5 above in populated areas, maybe 10-15 above on Wisconsin interstates) , I don't like hypocrites, or people who think they are above the law. That's why I get so irritated that marijuana is not legal. We all know that all these politicians that support keeping it illegal have used it. If a cop regularly does this, then pulls people over and tickets them for doing the same thing, he's a hypocrite. Thinks he's above the law. Don't particularly care for that, but meh... that doesn't mean it will stop happening, and many times these cops are giving out tickets through pressure from the chief/city to generate revenue too....

I wonder what would have happened if there would have been a crash when they were racing. Probably nothing except taxpayers paying for a new police cruiser.
