It is one of the most expensive places to live in Minnesota, the traffic around there is ALMOST as bad as in the Maple Grove area but EP is convenient to a lot of things in the cities and they have a good high school football team.

I have to agree with golfgal, they have widened some roads out that way but the Eden Prairie/Chanhassen area is growing. The commute out that way is bad and getting worse because there are more homes being built west of there. I know a couple of people who commute to Mpls from further west than that.

Typical outer ring suburb--bad traffic, overpriced, plastic people.

People more concerned about what size house you live in, what car you drive and what label is on your shirt then they do about what kind of person you are.

That is quite a blanket statement for over 50,000 people living in Eden Prarie and probably around 1 million more people living in outer ring suburbs.
