Hello I have my first behind the wheel test on wed in Plymouth. Anybody have any tips??

Don't break any laws, no rolling through stop signs, forgetting to use a turn signal, etc, any infraction is usually an automatic fail.

Make it obvious when you check your mirrors so the person testing you can see, don't just move your eyes. Keep both hands on the wheel (unless you have to shift of course).

the Examiner will try to intimidate you but don't let him. Remember you are in control of 4,000 lbs of steel and 100 lbs of highly flammable gasoline capable of traveling 180 feet/sec. You have all the power, not him.

Tips? Anticipate situations as much as possible. Be patient, brake a little early, accelerate softly, and stay a couple of MPH below the limit at all times.
