Hi, i will be relocating from sacramento in about 3months.
I have 2 small children, and my husband will be working at the airport.
I need some advises on where is the best place for children with a reasonable rent price.
Thanks!

Do you mean the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport?

Hey Karina1980,

Assuming you mean the MSP airport, you could really simplify things by moving to the Highland Park area of St. Paul, or anything right by it. I have no idea what rents average around there, but there should be a wide range of rentals to choose from. That area of St. Paul is pretty safe, prosperous, and has walkable neighborhoods and plenty of restaurants. And it would just be a hop, skip & a jump for your husband to get to work at the airport from there.

Coming to MN from CA, huh? You know about the cold, right? If you're arriving soon, brace yourself psychologically. It can often get below zero in the winter. It's mostly a matter of preparing for it, and stores everywhere in MN sell cold-weather clothing. Plan to invest some $$ in those types of duds; other than that, you'll probably like MN. Most people do.
