This is probably way off-topic, but I gotta share:
Westboro Baptist Church Goes to Mississippi and Loses

Sometimes I really love my home state

If you hate the war, then protest the people who are in charge of the war, not the families of unfortunate soldiers who died in it.

Now I know why I love my neighbor State.

My dad is laid to rest in Biloxi National Cemetery. Very nice place with a cool breeze coming off the Gulf of Mexico.

I went to SSG Jason Rogers funeral. I have never seen so much patroitism in a community. I was very proud to call this area home.

There was a request for a large turn-out posted at numerous gun forums. I saw it at ARFCOM.

After reading the story I thought the people of Mississippi handled this perfectly. It isn't the job of Westboro Baptist Church to judge people or police their actions, and it's low class to harrass a family when they are grieving the loss of a family member. WBC members got what they deserve. Amen.

Props to my state!!! The WBC members make me wan't to gouge my eyes out with a fork, but so do the members of "Code Pink" in Berkeley, Calif.

While I am not for gay marriage, I feel these people take this way to far. My cousin proudly serves this wonderful country and the WBC has NO RIGHTS to protest at military funerals while there is grieving families there... the soldiers who die have nothing to do with gay marriage in the U.S.

God bless America and don't let these "baptists" (which give's my religion a bad name) get to you.

Rankin County can be a very dark and dangerous place for people who cannot behave.

and...

A few years back, Westboro planned to make trouble at a Military Funeral in Madison. From the faint third-hand whispers I was hearing, they are incredibly lucky they changed their minds, and backed out at the last minute.

I think the Supreme Court ruled correctly when they ruled in favor of Westboro. Free speech is protected. Period. As it should be.

Having said that, I freakin' LOVE the way it was handled in Brandon! Absolutely perfect! I hope other places are taking notes. Westboro isn't really a "church". They are a family of attorneys who are literally begging someone to infringe on their "rights". When it happens, they sue. That's the only purpose for their "protests". They picked the whole "God hates ****" and "God loves dead soldiers" thing only because they knew the issues would generate a ton of controversy. They don't care about gays or soldiers. They care about lawsuits and money!

Way to go Mississippi!
