As I said before, I plan on moving from Tallahassee in April. After searching a little, I can't really decide where I want to go. I would like to be within 3 hours of Steelville, Mo. I love it there but there aren't a whole lot of job opportunities in that town. I would like a larger city with a laid back attitude. I don't really care about the different things to do, because I'm perfectly fine reading a book or taking a walk. It's been years since I've been up there so any info would be appreciated

lol, heck,,, 3 hours?!?!? Chitter78, you can be just about anywhere w/in 3 hours; from Springfield/Branson area [~2.5], StL [1.5], to even Columbia [~2.5], and then even over to Cape Girardeau or Poplar Bluff [either one ~2.8 hours]. In other words, you are picking a vary diverse and large area - many people will have therefore many different suggestions as to what is 'best', and further info regarding what you are after, along w/ what your definition of a 'larger city' is, would thereby help usins tell ya where to go... Seriously, welcome, and give some more details and what your desires are, what kind of job opportunities you are searching for, etc., and will be glad to help. And, yes, Steelville is still a little burg, hasn't changed much over the years, and is also still a nice area, filled w/ many options/opportunities for the outdoors nearby.
