i was wondering if it at all would be safe if a young single mom ( i am 22) and my son (who will be two soon to) to move down to south st. louis city. i have friends that live in south st. louis and they tell me it is not bad at all. but i am still a little hesitant. but i also dont want to bring my son up being afraid of st. louis city (well he can be afraid of north st. louis all he wants,
but it is cheap and for the moment i dont make make that much money( 25,000 yearly) and it would be close to my work somewhat (at least better than now) and i know the schools are horrible so i want to come back up to the suburbs when he starts school but just wondering what other people think. My family is very against it but they also raised me to be afraid of the big bad st. louis city.....

but it is cheap and for the moment i dont make make that much money( 25,000 yearly) and it would be close to my work somewhat (at least better than now) and i know the schools are horrible so i want to come back up to the suburbs when he starts school but just wondering what other people think.
