My husband has just accepted a position in Columbia, MO. We are a family of 5 moving from PA. Can someone advise me where to start looking for a home? I am interested in the home in the best school district in the area.
4 bedroom home
$300-$400K price range

Thanks!

The nicest area in Columbia, in my opinion, is west of Stadium Blvd, and south of I-70. There are plenty of homes in that area that fit the bill. In all honesty, the only bad area of Columbia is the NE part.

Columbia schools are really good, so I don't think you'll have a problem anywhere you live here.

Thanks for your feedback. I will research that location. I heard Thornbrook is a good neighborhood to get into. Guessing that is the same area?

We have moved quite a bit but first time to the Mid-west...

Yep, Thornbrook is in that area. It's a nice neighborhood.

I think you'll like the Midwest, and Columbia. I moved her a few years ago from the South and I like Columbia a lot. It is a smaller college town, but has plenty of good restaurants and fun things to do.
