Just figured Id share some of my pics of your beautiful state. Ive been there several times and have loved it immensely. I particularly love the Ozarks and the Branson area. My brother/friends and I also spend time on your lovely glades doing some scorpion/tarantula/snake/etc hunting, and we've been very spoiled. I do have some critter pics posted, but also some landscape images. If youre squeamish about arachnids and serpents, please look no further. Anyways, enjoy!

Sweet pix!!! You might like the St. Francis Mountain area of Southeast Missouri also. It has areas of Cambrian and Pre-Cambrian geology. If you haven't already check out Rock Pile Mountain/Lee's Bluff CA; Silver Mines and Elephant Rock.

Keep posting those pix!!!

Something I forgot...you may want to grab one of these and toss it in your truck. I did and am slowing marking off each spot as I go. If you do get a copy make sure to look up pink rock.

Id love to have something like that. Does it show where all the glades are located throughout the state?

It has several sections;
Overlooks and Bluffs
Streams & Springs
Cave & Caverns
Just Special Places

There are a couple of glades in the last section along with places like Pickle Springs, Devil's Tollgate and Mastadon. It tells you a little about each along with directions.

Hmmm, I did NOT know that MO had taratulas running about. I guess if we camp when (if) we get to visit, I will surely be checking my sleeping bag!! Spiders worry me, moreso than snakes

Edited to add: Awesome photography though, and thanks for sharing
