My family and I are now looking to move to Jackson, MO possibly. I was wondering how well mixed families are received there. If anyone can help and give me some insight on where to live, suggestion of public schools, doctors, the quality of life there, etc., I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you all for your help!

I think you would be fine there. Jackson schools are pretty good. Neighboring Cape Girardeau has two major hospitals as well. The cost of living is relatively low, but a bit higher than all of the neighboring areas due to higher housing costs. There are numerous parks & recreational facilities in either Jackson or Cape Girardeau. I grew up in that area so if you think of any other questions feel free to ask.

They just cut down the hanging tree, so, there's progress.
My SIL lives there and is probably the only Democrat in the county.
It's Southern, no doubt about it.
