For those in the NW MO, around KC, area, how many months of the year do you use your A/C? Which months, and are there some months you use it less than half the time? Does it cool off nicely at night?

I'm currently in CA, with dry heat. However, our new home is inland, so the summer temps will be in the 90s and above for quite a few months and I will be using the A/C from May until November.

Thanks.

Late May through late Sept sounds about right for KC. Spring and fall are wonderful here for doing without A/C or heat - the storms and frequent shifts with the wind bring fresh air.

August is merciless. But by October you shouldn't need A/C anymore.

I'll be surprised if we use a/C before June this year. Right now the weather is perfect - highs in the mid 70's, lows in the 50's. Just right for open windows

Thanks. I'm trying to compare where I am with St. Joseph using the data on C-D, but at some point my eyes glaze over.
