According to their Facebook page, as of June 25 they were awaiting word from the Fire Marshall, and expected to be open with "a few weeks."

Raj... I guess the "draw" would be if you were either nostalgic for the fondue craze of the '70s, or if it were a complete novelty to you. I know folks who've been to the Pensacola location and loved it, though I believe it's pricey.

I've heard the pricey comment a lot. Part of the reason I am curious. I suppose I will just have to go in and look at a menu. Probably a lot more to it than pots of melted food.

Looks like they are getting closer to opening. They were held up by an outside sprinkler system but have posted a video on Facebook now of the inside.

I did go into one nearby and looked at the menu. It does have solid food as well. lol

Actually I saw a number of things on the menu that appealed to me. The one near me has been around for years and I always think it has closed. It must do well or it wouldn't be there but that location and another are both very quiet. Perhaps it attracts people earlier than I am use to going out on Saturdays.

The delay in opening this one seems strange. But to all who are waiting, enjoy.

I have eaten at the one in Pensacola. I enjoyed it, but given the novelty aspect and price, I could see dining there only for special occasions. Regardless, I am looking forward to trying the one in Mobile.

Yes, when I ate at the one in Penscola this time three years ago, they said one would be opening in Mobile soon! LOL!
