Yes, not entirely sure what the Housing Authority is even around anymore, It has placed no contributions for the city in what, a generation? It's the city that has been working on the fixing the issue. I think another area to focus on is Tilman's Corner. I visited the Walmart a month back and it is riddled with homeless (I think i counted 14 or so) when for my childhood there was only one maybe two if ever there was any.

That happened when majority of the homeless was pushed from downtown. You can still see the homeless downtown as just as any but it is no where what it use to be.Not even close.

I have a hard time believing the poverty rate is lower in Saraland than it is in Daphne.
