Former Mayor Mike Dow and Governor Riley suppose to be announcing a huge economic development in Mobile that will not only impact the Alabama Gulf Coast but all of Southern Alabama as well. I strongly dought it has anything to do with the tanker contract with Northrup in Mobile which will create 1500 high paying jobs. They will be announcing it at the Mobile Chamber of Commerce at 10 A.m live. I hope it is as big as a deal as they are making it out to be Riley was a little emotional when he said he will announce the economic development live on fox 10.

I'm curious what it can be?
That's good news though.
Both Mobile and Montgomery are moving so fast I can't keep up with all the new developments.
South Alabama is being blessed. When they use to count us out.

Call center's hire lots of ppl but they normally don't pay more than $10 an hour to a majority of the ppl. They also usually hire them as 'temp' or contract workers so they don't have to provide health benefits.

Let's hope it is more than a call center.
