Anyone going to the shrimp festival in Gulf Shores this weekend? It looks like I won't be able to make it, but it should be a good one. Also, ArtWalk last night and market in the square this morning.

Oh, also, Blessing of the Animals this morning at Trinity Episcopal. Bring your dog, cat, guinea pig, whatever to get him or her blessed.

Was going to go, we were down to the Hangout a few weeks ago for a BBq and Blues Fest. and it was just a little too hot and humid for all that walking and traffic etc. ,maybe next year. If your into blues theirs a good band Jimmy Thackery and the Drivers playing at the Crooked Martini tonite(Sunday) starting at 6PM, they were playing the shrimp fest last night, theirs so much to do around here if a person gets bored, then theirs something wrong. I guess you can figure out that we're pretty happy with our move from Atlanta.

Glad to see activities & festivals in the area nowadays. When I grew up there (left about 26 yrs ago), the only thing going on was Mardi Gras and Blessing of the Fleet in Bayou La Batre.
