Hello, Im looking to move myself and family to Montana and are looking to live some where were my boys can grow and be outside. We love the out doors, camping and fishing. My wife and I would like to live in a good school district but are also concsidering home school. We are looking for wide open lands with trees next to water. Im a heavy equipment mecanic with welding experience. I have worked on everthing from trash trucks to our GM fleet. I have six years of experience in air brakes and hydrolice systems for Heil platfroms. I have an AA in automotive technology from AAI in Arizona, Iv been turing wrenches on anying that runs on some kind of fuel for 15 years. I am looking to live anywhere that will give us the ability to be happy with our enviroment along with the abilty to live self sustained.

I thought you might have been asking for some free labor. Other than that the state is your oyster! I would suggest looking for places with a likely job get a good list together after talking to the companies and pay a visit.

Good Luck

"We are looking for wide open lands with trees next to water."

That is kind pf challenging pairing. Which part is most important? Would you settle for a big river instead of a lake? Can the water be a half hour away?

You might look at the towns west of Billings or perhaps working in Helena and living a bit north or east of there. Or maybe Kalispell or Great Falls could work. All require bending the criteria some.

Or, if you are flexible, you might also look at north of Coeur d'Alene Idaho in a place like Rathdrum.

I was making a joke that the title to your post could be taking literally that you wanted help in actually moving your furniture and other personal items.
