Hi, I'm flying in next week to see my dying Grandma next Tuesday. I'm coming from Baton Rouge on a VERY limited budget with my two boys ages 9 & 1yr. Can anyone give me some ideas on a few cheap things to do with kids in case of rain. I have not lived there since I was a kid and the last time I was there was 2004.

Anyone know the Mullenax's?

oh and I've lived in Missoula, Polson, Bigfork and a few other small towns so I'm prepared for the weather to be unpredictable

Wish I could help with some good advice. Those are tough ages for kids on a rainy day.

I assume the Carousel was up and running in Missoula when you were there last? But then that's only good for a short while... The Childrens' Theatre and Library in Missoula each have a few programs. If the youngest were a bit older you could spend some time with Yahtzee and board games.

Sorry - I seem to be drawing a blank.

Good luck and we'll hope the weather cooperates so they can enjoy the outdoors.

Thanks for the help but my trip is now canceled. Seems my Grandma does not want to see anyone and now my Uncle is unwilling to let us stay with him. My family sucks and I guess that's how I ended up shipped of to LA. in the first place. Montana will always be my home another time
