Hi,

We are planning to retire-hopefully in Montana. My pension will be coming from Washington State. If I read things correctly, MT taxes my pension along with the Feds? So lets say my pension before taxes is $3500 a month. About what am I going to have left after taxes??

Pete

To quote a cartoon character, "That would be about $3.50" .. I hope it's not the case for you.

I am not an accountant, so I can't give you specific information.

However, the people who can are online at Department of Revenue - State of Montana

I do know that king brian the lesser, our governor is shaking down everybody he can for every dime he can lay his hands on to increase spending to the special intrest groups that support him like the teachers union.

Good Luck.
