Well seeing as though I am just now taking lessons, and have never really skied before, I very well couldn't say how Great Divide is as compared to anything else, other than to say that I'm sure the ground is as hard on my arse at Great Divide as it is at Bridger, etc..

As long as you are used to the smell of Ben Gay, you just as well get your next lesson over with.

Would bubble wrap help? Somebody threatened to give me some last month.

Most Ski resorts today provide trials for kids and those beginners. Fun to watch kids so excited making their trails..

My son has already been told he should be on the ski team- he took to it naturally. After 4x on the slopes he can already run the ridge (or line) straight down turning within a 12ft 'path'. The older instructor said "I can't do that- he's got raw skill".

And I'm still on the bunny hill, lol. Well, I think 75lbs is easier to control than 200lbs, that's what I say!

Then I must be a natural. The one and only time I went skiing, I went straight down the hill. Course, everybody was screaming, "Turn fool, turn".

I absolutely hate watching skiing on tv. But I love going out and watching people in person. There is so much going on. I admire those that "get it" and can work the hills. Cuddo's to your son.

Now, if interested, I have a big pillow setting here that I would be willing to part with for a price.
