I've been trying to find a photo that used to be online, a shot of a train derailment at the point where the rails curve at Ledger. Apparently the rails got hot it the sun and spread just enough to derail the train. It happened sometime in the '90s, and I got a great description of it from a man who lived in Ledger then. Seems that the railroad retrieved the locomotive and left the rest for scrap.
