Yeah, yuck yuck...that was mighty "manly". Don't you know bull snakes are here to control rattlers? Don't you know that they won't hurt YOU? They are here to get rid of rodents, like the gophers and vermon that break cattle's legs. The rodents that "out of staters" are trying to protect....because they are "such cute creatures."

And these transients wonder why Montanan's are a little upset Oh yeah, I guess because we raise cattle for your juicy hamburgers and steaks our "Al Gore green footprint" is too large too.

9'8? Never seen one that big. Ive caugh 5 footers. The bull snakes are good snakes, they eat rattlers.

Default memories

I am in Michigan now, but some of my best memories are of the Whitehall area. My dad taught at the IU Geological Field Station near Cardwell, so we spent our summers there. We're coming out for a brief visit this summer and I can't wait to show my family what I experienced. I remember the big trout in the fountain near the grain elevator, the great burgers and shakes at the Borden Cafe, Saturday nights when the students came to town. And, the "Kitchen Boys" who worked at the field station in the summer. Hi to Pete, Mike, Tim and the others!

we are building a home outside of whitehall near pipestone creek. Am concerned about rattle snakes.....should I be worried??
