I travel to other states quite a bit at times... and it's always nice to get home.

Great blog!

We do eat raw fish in Helena though. We have two sushi restaurants and another popular all-around fine dining place that offers a few sashimi choices. I had some on Thursday with my co-workers. Watch out for the wasabi...I cried in front of some clients.

However, we also have a really great old fashioned ice cream parlor and homemade candy shop that has been around forever...so take your pick. New or good old fashioned--we have 'em both. We also have the York bar with the best burgers around--conveniently located about 20 minutes out in the middle of the woods.

It is really fun to drive around Montana looking for the places with the best pie or the best burger. Make sure and tell us more about the great places you find on your travels.

My road trips take me out of the state mostly these days.
My latest was to Seattle/Bellevue Washington for most all of this past week.
Our internet server business is finally starting to ramp it up around here, and sometimes travel to locations out of state are a necessary evil.

Great Falls has a pretty active blogosphere. If one were to ever want to know about a place, all they would have to do is check out what the local folks say about it in their blogs.

Some of the better ones around these parts are:

http://www.mtmis.net/ (The Montana Misanthrope)
http://outtherewithtom.blogspot.com/index.html (Out There With Tom)
http://www.greaterfalls.com/ (Greater Falls)
http://ecityblog.blogspot.com/index.html (Electric City WebLog)

Just average, every day folks, telling it the way it is.
Sort of gives you a good feel for the area and of how things might be as seen through the eyes of the local folks.
