It seems like most of them were closing anyways. Did this pandemic put the nail in the coffin for this businessin Montreal?

Why? I'd have thought it would be obvious to anyone who does their thinking with the head that sits on top of the shoulders.

Because it's demeaning, stigmatizing, dehumanizing, exploitive, sexual objectification, that's why. There are other non-demeaning, non-objectifying ways for people to make a better, healthier, safer, less exhausting, more qualifying and more productive living with the added bonus of having a longer life expectancy than what strippers have. I have encountered too many women (and men) who were in the business and died far too early because of it.

Do you believe all those people who make their living that way actually WANT to make a living that way? Do you think that there are youngsters who say "when I grow up I want to be a stripper and be dehumanized and stigmatized while I get naked in public for a bunch of drunk, slavering slobs who are raping me in their minds." ???

You think it's terrible that I say I hope strip clubs go out of business. I think it's terrible that there are dehumanizing people who want objects of their lust to expose naked bodies to them to satisfy the porn that's going on inside their heads.

Must you always be so rude and uncouth when answering people you disagree with?

There are many other things people could be doing, the same could be said about many jobs. PLeas stop being so judgemental, get off your high horse. Its not just dancers that work at these places. Barmaids, Bartenders, Dj's and doormen also make their living there. People take care of their families with these jobs. Please stop derailing threads all the time. Thanks.

i have to say though I am actually surprised that they would let any clubs open any time soon. Seems way to risky.

What gave you the idea that I was disagreeing with you when you never expressed an opinion for me to disagree with?

What could be more rude and uncouth than observers who enjoy watching other people lose dignity and debase themselves for the observers' base pleasures?

This is your thread and you asked me why I hope strip clubs close down. I answered your question honestly and with forthrightness so I am not derailing your thread. If you don't like my answer to your question you shouldn't have asked for it. You could have ignored my first post instead.

You could have answered without the cynical and rude comment. Now back to the topic please. This thread was not meant to pass judgement on anyones job or pass time. Thank you.

I get it, life's been quite boring the last few months. What's a man supposed to do in the weekend or on business trips these days?

Should I ever go to Montreal, I will support this business financially. I promise .
