Is it possible to buy a house in a different state as I want to move me and my business ( though I could claim whatever needs to be claimed ?)
Business isn't online, its a local service business that caters to local folk.
Thanks

You would have to buy it before you move, deem it a Second Home, and not let on that you plan to move to the new location permanently.

I'm not saying you SHOULD do that. But that is the only way it can work - otherwise, you would have to establish income at the new location for 1-2 years.

I was able to move to another state, buy a business, and a house without any problem - but that was 1993. Lenders are a lot less cooperative now. If you can show sufficient income from your last two years tax returns and profit/loss statements the problem will be convincing the lender that you will make that much in the new location.

When you move, won't your income drop to $0.
