Hi all,

Our mortgage broker is offering us a package with Franklin American/Citizens Bank (the latter which I understand had purchased Franklin American last year).

I'm nervous about it because online reviews are very poor. Then again, I imagine it's the people with a complaint who find their way onto websites to post reviews.

If anyone has experience working with them, I would appreciate hearing from you!

Thanks much!

Disregard negative online reviews. They are about as accurate as Quicken "winning" the "JD Power Award."

Focus on the person you are talking with at that company, their competence, consistency, and of course the numbers.

OP, your first concern is the money coming to the closing, on time, at the cost and terms you locked.
That is on your mortgage broker if they fail you.

Then, your loan servicer is your next concern.
Who will that be?

I agree with Pfhtex regarding negativity in online reviews. And as you said, people find the internet to complain.
