if you are into rural living, come on over!

the main roads are paved in our subdivision, but the intersecting ones are all gravel. a horse and carriage might be in our future.

I've actually never been to the Big Island - been to Maui twice and a quick stop on Oahu. I was in Maui last summer for the honeymoon. We thought about splitting time between the Big Island but we just loved Maui so much.

yes maui is beautiful but so are all the individual islands in their own way. o'ahu is way too crowded for me even though i've lived here all my 46 years.

Why thank you. Yeah my wife just got back from a college graduation reunion with her girlfriends on the North Shore, she said that Honolulu was just too busy but North Shore was more relaxed, almost too relaxing. I'd rather go to the Big Island & Kauai before spending much time on Oahu.

yes. very relaxing out that way.

well, a storm is hitting the islands. started pouring in kailua, o'ahu just before 5pm. kaua'i got the brunt of it so far. rainy weather is expected through next week.
