I think every bank out there is trying to scrape up losses from new customers so be careful.. go with the referral thing firstly, and secondly, save any money that may get reimbursed to you coz you'll need it when the shenanigans start (short-falls etc)
And HSBC for our Nordic Trak machine is one big joke... as soon as i get out from under that mess of a loan i'll be a little richer.

Has anyone applied to or does anyone have a mortgage with HSBC? I am planning to apply there because of their low rates and am hoping to get some feedback on their customer service, time they take with your application, etc.

Thank you in advance for your help!

you can get the same rate from many places.
