As in most places the law may have some consequences to drinking while driving a boat i think if you are only going to have 1 why bother? try non alcoholic beer if the need for 1 beer is that strong.

In NC drinking in a boat is treated just like it is a car. A drunk boater can be charged with DWI if he is driving the boat and just like a car lose his drivers licence and get insurance points. Boaters who are under the age of 26 in NC MUST complete a boater safety class.

I don't know the law in New Hampshire but I would do my drinking after I drove home. Judging from the casuality rate on our lakes drinking and driving boats do not go together.

No need to check. I know it for a fact. I boat in heavily patrolled waters and can tip up a cold one right in front of their faces while operating my vessel.

If you are anchored or beached, you can actually be over .08.

In Maryland, the operator of a boat may drink alcohol, but cannot have a BAL over.08.

Maryland Delegate Don Dwyer (R) is now quite aware of this.

I never have and don't allow my buddies too either.

I'm driving the bass boat and we're all having ice cold Pepsi watching other people get busted.

How are you going to put it back on the trailer and drive the truck home drunk?

I like my ice cold Pepsi and Coke much better.
