Minimalist Adventure bikes

I have owned a KLR 650, DRZ 400s and a Sherpa 250 plus a dozen other models over the years. Only do over size would be the DRZ400s which is just right for a minimalist Dual Sport IMHO.
BTW neighbor just gave me her Chinese made '08 Flyscooter 150 . 34 miles and has been setting on her patio covered since she bought it new. I pulled the various body covers to bring it back to life. Heavy metal rust thru out the frame. Must have cut some corners in paint prep department. I've stripped the frame bare and in the process of stripping the rust. it is only worth my time because it was free. Once back together I'll have about $200 into it and it will be worth about $750.

Yamaha had the XT600 and it's variations here in the past. I'm surprised they stopped bringing them in because it doesn't cost much to manufacture those old designs. Think the KLR650, DR650, XR650.
