I had a dumb moment yesterday and overfilled the oil on my new, used Cub Cadet 2518 garden tractor. I checked the dipstick when it was very hot and it looked completely empty so I put 1 extra quart in and it started blowing white smoke out the exhaust.
I drained the oil back out and filled to the proper level cold and it is no longer smoking.
What else do I need to get this thing back up to par after my stupid move?
The plug is fouled and the air filter has some oil on it - I ordered new of both and will replace.
Do I need to clean inside the spark plug hole?
Do I need to take apart the carb to clean it or will gas do that as it runs some more?

There's most likely a crankcase vent that goes to the airbox (how the filter collected oil), and that same airbox almost Certainly has oil in it. Motorcycles and ATVs have a drain on the airbox, no idea if a lawn tractor does, but you'll want to clean up that oil too lest you Keep sucking it into filters.
