Been riding for 40 years and still have two in the garage. I don't like scooters because of the small tires. It makes handling weird, and they're too close together, i.e. wheelbase too short. I'd look at a motorized bicycle before a scooter.

You would pay more and have a shorter range and wheelbase. Your argument makes no sense.

You fail to understand and you make no sense. A scooter will run about $5k, whereas a moto-bicycle will run about $800. Any normal 26 inch bicycle will have larger diameter tires and a longer wheelbase, which increases rotational stability and provides better handling. Not concerned with range, there are gas stations on every block. Not riding the machine in the boondocks, they're city/town transportation.
