Occasionally someone will post saying what movies he's looking forward to, or asking what other people are looking forward to. I usually find this depressing, because it tends to be a guy eagerly anticipating yet another super-hero sequel.
But I thought some of you might enjoy this list that just ran in the New York Times - first, just because it alerts you to what's coming with a little blurb, but also because it reminds you of what is really out there, all the things that most people never see.
Godzilla
The Hobbit
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
Spiderman 2
Expendables 3
This. Even though The Hobbit is coming this winter like the rest of the LOTR-related movies. And I'm also looking forward to Mockingjay Part 1 this fall too!!!!
I think you guys are missing the point. I wasn't asking what movies you were looking forward to. In fact, you're confirming the worst aspect of this - that the movies you're mostly looking forward to are the depressingly same re-boots, sequels, blockbusters.
The point of my post was to try to alert you to a broader range of movies. Or, wait - perhaps none of you even bothered to click on my link to read the list?

I did, and most of those movies I couldn't care less about.
