That movie scared the heck out of me as a teenager. I had a friend that I feared was headed for prison if he didn't clean up his act - after seeing the movie, especially the part with the young guy, I started hassling him every chance I got. He did clean up his act, and I think I had a lot to do with it, so thanks Truman Capote and Alan Alda.
