I really have to wonder what people are thinking when they see or hear "unrated version", especially on movies that already got an R rating at general release? Isn't that a warning bell for most sentient lifeforms ?

True, but how many know it is there? I have been renting movies for years and have never seen it. Since I am an adult I would go for the unrated---how bad can it be with Cameron Diaz and teen idol Justin Timberlake anyway? I guess really bad as I found out.

I don't want to see Timberalke dry hump in his jeans ever again. Some of these movies can be very funny and worth seeing but this was just yuck.

Justin Timberlake stopped being a teen idol after performing "D*ck in a Box", "Motherlover", and "3-Way". Or maybe he's even more popular w/ teens- but for all the reasons that parents hate

I liked the movie "In Time" which I saw at the movie theatre a few weeks ago but I kept thinking both Timberlake and the lead actress were miscast in an otherwise very enjoyable movie. I believe that's the only movie I've ever seen Timberlake in and I don't know his music.

He was very funny in an SNL skit I saw on You Tube awhile back.

Doesn't "unrated" automatically mean that it's going to be raunchier than a R rating ('unrated" doesn't mean it's okay for kids of all ages, after all...)

the issue here, like in so many instances, isn't the movie, but questionable parenting

I've been watching rated R movies since I was like 8 years old. My daughter watches rated R movies with me all the time. Obviously, I wouldnt let her watch Bad Teacher but some rated R movies arent that bad.

Anyone that cannot put together that an unrated version is something kids shouldnt watch probably shouldnt have kids.

That is true but no one but a few has picked up on my main message. Rental stores have both versions--R plus NC17 on the video. If parents do not know then the NC is sneaked through to their teens without their knowledge. This is just a heads up for parents who care. For those who don't think it's a big deal, then ignore it.
