This looks like a gritty survival story, With Liam and Co. vs. the elements and rather scary wolves after a plane crash. I think Liam Neeson will elevate this above the average survival story. Bradley Cooper was first considered as the lead, And despite me liking Bradley I do not think he fits that role. Liam has that real "man" quality. He is more convincing as a regular, yet tough guy that finds himself in a bad situation. With airplane liquor bottles being used as knucks.

Love Liam. Also love wolves.
I understand that the movie is fictional.
I hope wolves more don't get shot because of this film. Wolves are not cute and cuddly but are magnificent in their way, and until the end of the 20th century they were barely surviving as a species.
Now after almost a century, there is a wolf in California. My hopes are high, my expectations are realistic.

I love snowed-in adventure movies. Some of my favorite heavily snowed-in movies are: Eight Below, Vertical Limit, 30 Days of Night, The Day After Tomorrow, Whiteout (and a few others I can't think of at this moment). Very much looking forward to The Grey. Liam Neeson is cool too.

I am not a fan of Liam Neeson. He's too deadpan in some way, sort of like Charles Bronson. That and his performance as Qui Gon Jinn in Star Wars sucked terribly, but that was more of just a poorly written character. Even Samuel L. Jackson stunk and had an even worse character.
But his last movie with a kidnapped daughter being sold as a sex slave was very good. Maybe the plot carried him but he did a credible job. I don't quite buy him as an action hero but he's better in that kind of movie than a strict drama.
But this looks good. Plane crash/ fight for survival movies are usually good.

Anyone who has seen Taken knows this all too well.

I have been a fan of Liam's probably since the 1980's and have seen everything he's done. This will be no exception. And Mr. Moviefone gave it a rave review

On second thought - I just read the reports regarding the treatment of the Wolves, the mis-representation of Wolves AND the fact that the cast ate Wolf Meat provided by a Trapper. I'm now a bit dissapointed in Liam and will sadly have to Boycott this movie. I can't in all good conscience spend money to see it.

I couldn't agree more. I sat on the edge of my seat every minute and the anxiety he felt went right through me.
