I saw this today and it has since replaced "Seven Psychopaths" as the worst movie I've seen this year.
The best way to describe it is that it is an American reproduction of a 70's-80's Hong Kong martial arts movie with the outrageous costumes, silly stunts, bad acting, and ridiculous plotlines but without the charm of the bad dubbing and sound effects. Only one redeeming quality: -all- the chicks in there are hot!
Well, I placed this movie on my "I must be bored out of my damn mind" movie list. So needless to say I ended up bored today and have it a shot.
Anyhow, the show is basically Quentin Tarantino meets 70's Kung Fu movies. It wasn't the best movie but I actually found it entertaining. Now if you're looking for a serious movie, keep looking but if you're looking for a show with some humor, enjoy Quentin Tarantino's films, and have absolutely nothing else going on and bored to tears, go check it out.
I had high hopes for it since I like the type of movie but end result was a disappointment, a "meh" at best.

I didn't know some black guy made it nor would I really care but what p.sses me off is, nowadays, people are not even allowed to be honest and candid with their opinions and criticism because they get labeled as racist, prejudice, anti-Semitic, etc. You (fairly) criticize a black guy, you are racist. You criticize a Jewish person, you are anti-Semitic, you criticize a person who turns out to be gay, you are prejudice.
That is complete and utter BS. I am sick of people pulling out the race card (or some other card) because they get b.tt-hurt due to criticism.

It's not a Quentin Tarantino movie, he had nothing to do with the movie. RZA co-wrote it(With Eli Roth), directed it and stars in it, as the blacksmith. Tarantino endorsed the movie because he is friends with RZA and producer Eli Roth.
As for the movie, I've seen it and I enjoyed it, gave it a 6/10. Though I think it would have been better with a talented actor taking the role of the blacksmith, RZA is wooden and not impressive as an actor.
