What choice do u have? I thought which Stallone Movie or Bruce Willis movie was better...I couldn't tell u which movie was better, so u figure it out. What movie inspires you more?
Does taking people hostage inspire you or getting them released? I am more inspired by things I can relate to rather than super heroes like Bruce Willis. He's entertaining no doubt, but that's all I get out of a Die Hard film, is entertainment. Thanks for your response....Anyone else wanna share their experience with each movie?
Didnt actually read your whole question. I was just replying to what movie is better. Not which one inspires me. Neither of them really inspire me. I watch movies for entertainment.
Die Hard personally inspires me to fight Eurotrash criminals posing as terrorists to seize skyscrapers for the purposes of a heist...
I don't even remember Lock-Up--that was in the midst of a particularly weak period for Stallone that included the movie about arm wrestling and Tango and Cash.
I've seen both movies and love 'em both but neither of them inspire me to action. Comparing the two is like comparing apples and oranges to begin with. I guess if you want to say which is the better acted and written film then it would have to be Die Hard. Certainly, it was the more influential of the two. Up until then, your standard action hero was a pretty serious not some wise guy cracking jokes.
I won't defend Over the Top, but Tango & Cash was freakin' awesome! There are so many classic lines from that one.

He doesn't play a superhero in Die Hard. He plays a guy that really doesn't want to be there. He even escapes away from the bad guys and spends his time trying to get the police to do their job. The only reason he saves the day is because he really has no other choice. Bruce Willis is relatable in that movie precisely because he isn't a superhero. He's running away from the bad guys. He's not charging in taking them down.
