I saw the Wolverine and Pacific Rim this weekend and both of them are in this category.
Give me a break.

The Wolverine movie is based on Part one of a five part Wolverine Limited comic book series written in 1982-1983. It's about a time in Wolverine's life when he was engaged with Mariko. Any true Wolverine fan would know this and realize it's importance in Wolverine's life...much more than some drummed up Jean-Scout-Wolverine Love Triangle. The Wolverine Limited series showed a different side of Wolverine, an honorable side. The 5pt Limited series also marks Wolverine's first Solo comic series. Up until the Limited series, he was only seen in the X-Men and related comics.

Here is a synopsis for the series if anyone is interested.

Wolverine Limited Series – 1982 | Comics My Mom Should Read

Anyhow, I don't know if Marvel has hinted on a Part 2 on The Wolverine, but Wolverine does make a return trip to Japan to check up on Mariko in the comics...

I was not saying the movies have no original script. I am just saying I do not like these stories and they do not serve my purpose.

I thought the Last Samurai was the most ridiculous, outrageous one. Nathan Algren kills Taka's husbands and then she falls in love with Nathan. LMFAO. Who goes and falls in love with the person who killed your spouse?

Yeah my Asian bros feel the same way, like they're being collectively emasculated by Hollywood, which can definitely suck.
